Our Own Compliance

Accessibility statement.

Short answer

Is the OptiSite website itself accessible?

Yes, and we test it rather than assume it. This site is built toward the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard — the yardstick the U.S. Department of Justice adopted in 2024. We check every page automatically at three screen sizes, and a person moves through every button and link using only a keyboard. There is no accessibility widget on this site. Anything we know is still imperfect is listed openly further down this page. If something on this site blocks you, email BWhitehouse@lunovus.com or call 205-208-1096 and you will hear back within two business days.

More on this page’s topic

How do I report an accessibility barrier on this site?
Email BWhitehouse@lunovus.com or call 205-208-1096 and describe what you were trying to do and what happened. You do not need to identify the technical cause. We acknowledge reports within two business days and tell you what we intend to do within ten.
Does OptiSite use an accessibility overlay or widget?
No. Nothing on this site, or on a site we build, relies on one of those buttons. We never let a widget take credit for passing a rule. Accessibility is built into the markup itself, so the page conforms with any widget removed. Overlay products have been named in a large share of recent ADA web claims, which is why we never treat one as the fix.
Has this site had an independent third-party accessibility audit?
Not yet, and we do not claim otherwise. So far we have run automated testing on every page at three screen widths, plus keyboard and structure checks by our own team. No formal ACR or VPAT has been produced for this site.
